Introduction
"I consider Report on Jobs the most authoritative set of recruitment and employment figures in the UK marketplace."
Richard Donkin, Financial Times
The Report on Jobs is widely respected and used by City analysts, the Treasury and the financial press to better understand the ever-changing dynamics of the labour market. It consists of original and unique survey data that give the most up-to-date and comprehensive monthly picture of recruitment, employment and employee earning trends available for the UK.
The strength of this data is evident when you consider that the Bank of England use it as part of their detailed economic analysis for their quarterly Inflation Report. It is also widely used by City analysts from the top investment banks including JP Morgan, Citigroup and UBS.
A few of the highlights of the last report
- The number of people placed in permanent jobs declined for the first time since May 2003
- Temporary staff billings rose at the fastest pace in three months.
- Engineering/Construction was the most sought-after category of temp worker.
Available formats:
- An updated electronic file every month with ten years of data history for the user’s own analysis.
- A report in PDF format, produced by our team of in-house economists that puts the data into a historical context and highlights the salient features and developments.
